Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how KoalaT Games collects, uses, stores, and protects information for our games, websites, and backend services, including Whisper, Predation, and Desert Gears.
Short version: we collect the information needed to run accounts, sync progress, verify purchases, provide leaderboards, prevent abuse, and support the games. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use third-party advertising tracking in our games.
Information We Collect
Depending on how you use our games and services, we may collect:
- Account identifiers from Sign in with Apple, including Apple's user identifier and relay email if Apple provides one.
- Game profile data such as display name, progress, saved loadouts, inventory, upgrades, cosmetics, scores, run history, and leaderboard entries.
- Purchase records needed to verify App Store transactions, including product identifiers, transaction identifiers, purchase state, and related Apple-signed transaction data.
- Technical data such as device platform, app version, request timestamps, IP address, authentication tokens, and server logs.
- Messages or information you send to us when asking for support.
How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Create and authenticate game accounts.
- Save and sync game progress across online sessions.
- Deliver purchases, verify App Store transactions, process refunds or revocations, and keep audit records.
- Operate leaderboards, gameplay services, inventory, cosmetics, upgrades, and run submissions.
- Maintain security, prevent fraud or abuse, diagnose problems, and improve game stability.
- Respond to support requests.
Offline Play
Some games may support offline or airplane-mode play. Offline gameplay data can remain on your device until you reconnect. Spending that affects a server balance, online inventory, or purchase entitlement requires an online sync with our backend services.
Purchases
In-app purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We receive and store the purchase verification information needed to deliver purchased items, maintain balances, and handle refund or revocation notices. We do not receive or store your payment card details.
Sharing
We may share limited information only when needed to operate the services:
- With Apple for Sign in with Apple, App Store purchase verification, and App Store server notifications.
- With hosting, database, security, and infrastructure providers that help run the games and website.
- When required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of KoalaT Games, players, or the public.
We do not sell personal information.
Retention
We keep account, gameplay, purchase, and audit information for as long as needed to operate the games, comply with legal and platform obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and maintain accurate purchase records. Server logs are kept for a limited period unless needed for security, debugging, or legal reasons.
Your Choices
You can use Apple account controls to manage Sign in with Apple and relay email settings. You can also contact us to request access or correction of personal information.
Account and Data Deletion
Whisper players can permanently delete their account while online from the in-game Settings / Legal screen by selecting Delete Account. The app requires an authenticated session and two confirmations; deletion requests are not queued while offline.
Completed deletion removes the Whisper profile, display name, game progress, saved designs, inventory, Flux balance, cosmetics, statistics, run history, leaderboard entries, authentication tokens, cached offline access, and other Whisper account data. Sign in with Apple authorization is revoked when a revocable Apple token is available. Signing in again creates a new, empty Whisper profile.
If the same KoalaT identity is used with another KoalaT game, deleting Whisper removes Whisper-owned data only. Transaction, accounting, refund, tax, security, and fraud-prevention records that must be retained may remain only as needed and are anonymized or disassociated from direct account identifiers where practical. Deletion does not automatically request an App Store refund.
Predation players can permanently delete their account while online from the in-game Settings gear, then Legal, then Delete Account. The app requires an authenticated session and two confirmations; deletion requests are not queued while offline.
Completed deletion removes the Predation player profile, display name, game progress, saves, inventory, virtual currency, unlocks, statistics, run history, leaderboard entries, authentication tokens, and other Predation cloud data. Sign in with Apple authorization is revoked when a revocable Apple token is available. Signing in again creates a new, empty Predation player profile.
If the same KoalaT identity is used with another KoalaT game, deleting Predation removes the Predation account and Predation-owned data only. Data owned by the other game remains available to that game.
Predation has no subscriptions or recurring billing. Account deletion removes unused Bio Coins and virtual goods but does not automatically request an App Store refund. Transaction, accounting, refund, tax, security, and fraud-prevention records that must be retained may remain only as needed and are anonymized or disassociated from direct account identifiers where practical.
Children
Our services are not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No online service can be guaranteed to be perfectly secure, but we work to keep account, purchase, and gameplay data protected.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy as our games and services change. The updated date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
